We expect children in Year 5 to;
read their school library book for fifteen minutes at least twice per week
learn their weekly spellings that are sent home on a Friday, ready for a test the following Friday
practise their times tables
We also have a new 'homework menu' which we encourage children to choose activities from. The activities link to the work that we're doing in our lessons this half term. Children can bring in completed work or send in via Class Dojo.
