Day 1:

 

  • Learn your spellings for the week- watch the Power-Point and write your spellings in your exercise book.
  • Complete the Joe Wicks PE lesson on YouTube or if you would like to try some dancing go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oe_HDfdmnaM this one is a dance about pirates!
  • Complete Day 1 of the maths warm up PDF. Write the answers in your book.
  • In today's maths lesson you'll be calculating unit fractions. Watch this video to guide you through the process. https://vimeo.com/425799745
  • For reading, watch the video of the story "Monkey Puzzle" by Julia Donaldson https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4vq1TVYB7U
  • For English, open the PDF and read about monkeys. Then answer the questions.
  • We are carrying on with our 30 days wild challenge. Have you guessed what animal we are learning about today? That's right, monkeys! Go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6lmmAyvl3I and learn about monkeys. The have a go at making a picture of a monkey with your handprint!

Day 2:

 

  • Practice your spellings in your exercise book.
  • Complete the Joe Wicks PE lesson on YouTube or if you would like to try some dancing go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SH-7A3NVQbY this one is all about being under the sea.
  • Complete Day 2 of the maths warm up PDF. Write the answers in your book.
  • In today's maths lesson we'll be calculating non-unit fractions. Watch this video before you complete today's worksheet. https://vimeo.com/425799860

  • For English, open the PDF. Then watch the video below about dolphins. Complete the sentences about dolphins on the sheet or in your book.

  • If you fancy getting a bit messy today then ask an adult to help you make some salt dough (the recipe is below). Then have a go at making your own salt dough dolphin. Use the picture as inspiration!

Day 3:

  • It's Wellbeing Wednesday! Getting enough sleep every night will improve your mental health and wellbeing. Open the PDF and think about what you do to prepare yourself to go to sleep. There's a colouring in sheet too!
  • For reading, listen to the story of Catherine and the lion at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFsyqAyZbjA Then open the PDF below and  read the story The lion and the mouse. Answer the comprehension questions.
  • Your wildlife challenge today is all about lions! Watch this short video about lions at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlZwYsJpqjo then why not have a go at this craft activity?

 

Day 4:

 

  • Practice your spellings in your exercise book.

  • Complete Day 4 of the maths warm up PDF. Write the answers in your book.
  • In today's maths lesson we will be recapping finding a quarter. If you're a bit uncertain take a look at this video, it should help https://vimeo.com/425800005
  • For English, open the PDF. Use the word bank and picture to help you write sentences. Don't forget your capital letters and full stops. Make sure your handwriting is as neat as can be!
  • For today's 30 Days Wild challenge we're going to be learning about puffins. Some of you may know that puffins are my favourite birds! I just love their faces with their beautiful eyes, chubby looking cheeks and colourful beaks!
