Watch the video and retell the story in 3 parts, using your knowledge of our most recent T4W model text. The first part of your writing should set the scene and isolate the main character, the second part should hint at a problem and allow the main character to notice the problem and the final part should be about the main character getting involved in the problem through a change of location.

 

Make sure you write in paragraphs, take care with spelling and use a wide range of punctuation (brackets, commas, dashes, etc). You could even use a small amount of speech with appropriate speech punctuation.

Find an object in your house and draw/colour an image of a part of it REALLY close up. When it's finished, show it to some of your family members and get them to guess what it is. You could use a view finder (piece of paper/card with a square cut in the middle) to help you focus.
