Spellings
Spellings are sent home weekly for children to practice, ready for a test on Friday. The spellings that your child will receive will link directly to the spelling rules that need to be covered as set out in the National Curriculum.
Some of the spellings sent home weekly are what we call ‘common exception words’. These are words that your child must be able to spell correctly by the end of their cohort year (Year 3 or Year 4).
You will receive a slip with your child's spelling result on a Friday pm.
