Week beginning 9.5.16

It's been a strange week. We have had all sorts of weather and this meant that our outside play was very varied.

We have had the opportunity to do all these activities;

  • Colour mixing Superworm and cutting him out
  • Role play in the home corner
  • Hook a duck and number recognition 
  • Measuring Superworm 
  • Manipulating elastic bands onto nail boards
  • Painting 
  • Making playdough Superworms
  • Counting actions and objects 
  • Joining in with stories 
  • Sorting sounds
  • Listening to rhyming stories and joining in with rhymes
  • Using instruments to make loud, quiet, fast and slow sounds
  • Mark making, writing numbers and letters and drawing pictures 

Week beginning 18.4.16

 

We have had another busy week this week. Here are some of the activities we have had chance to do;

Welcome back to school for our last term of the school year.

This term our topic is 'Superheroes'. We dressed up as Superheroes and have all sorts of Superhero activities to do.

 

Week beginning 7.3.16

It's been a busy week this week. We had stay and play on Wednesday and Mr Smith brought his tractor in to show us on Thursday.

The Gingerbread Man Adventure! 
We read the story of the Gingerbread Man. We made Gingerbread men and enjoyed tasting the end result!

Week beginning 9.11.15

 

The activities we have done this week:

  • Making pizza faces
  • Mark making and creating fireworks pictures using chalks and black paper
  • Bat and ball skills
  • Mark making in paint 
  • Construction using large crates, planks and tyres
  • Riding bikes and scooters
  • Playing a variety of musical instruments including a guitar and accordion
  • Matching socks
  • Pairing things that go together
  • Recognising numbers to 20
  • Making flags for different councountries
