Week commencing 22nd June

Here are some activities to keep you busy this week...

Remember there is no pressure to complete them, but they are here IF you wish to.

Miss Thorp and Mrs Wright would love to see what you are all getting up to...

You can use the book that you took home to record anything.

Alternatively, you can let us know on twitter or by email.

 (Adult supervision required)

Reading

Have a look at 'I'll Always Love You' - one of our favourite stories at school!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtTe9wkIE64

(Adult supervision required)

Writing/Mark Making

Draw a picture of someone that you love. We would love it if you could show us your pictures via email/twitter.

Maths

Watch the numberblocks episode - 'Stampolines'

https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b08dnngm/numberblocks-series-1-stampolines

(Adult supervision required)

It is all about how the same number can look different e.g. 2 blue blocks, 3 red blocks = 5 blocks and 4 blue blocks and 1 red block = 5 blocks

Have a go at making numbers in different ways!

Groovy Movers

One of our favourites... Superman Song!

Get your grown ups to join in too, I'm sure they will love this as much as you do!

Creative

Can you make some shadow pictures? (Picture at the bottom of the page)

Put your toys out in the sun and draw around the shadow. You could see what other shapes you can make with different objects e.g. beaker, bucket, plant pot. The options are endless...

Understanding the World

Keep an eye out for baby birds in your garden. They usually look fluffy and are making lots of noise to be fed by their parents! (Picture at the bottom of the page)

Let us know if you spot any! You could draw a baby bird or try taking a photograph of them!

Stay safe, smile and keep washing your hands!

We miss you!
