Day 1:

• Learn new spellings - find link above
• Complete day 1 RWI - find link above
• Complete day 1 of maths work - find link above
• Open up the document Y1 TALK4WRITING UNIT. Follow this document throughout the week for writing activities. TODAY: Read Sidney Spider - A Tale of Friendship to your child, get them to re-read this back to you and summarise. Then complete pages 5 and 6 by finishing Sidney's sticky notes.

Day 2:

• Learn new spellings - find link above
• Complete day 2 RWI - find link above
• Complete day 2 of maths work - find link above
• Re-read Sidney Spider - A Tale of Friendship. Then, complete activity on page 7 of TALK4WRITING document. Who said what?
• Have a go at reading a book. This can be a home reading/library book or a book you already have at home!

Day 3:

• Learn new spellings - find link above
• Complete day 3 RWI - find link above
• Complete day 3 of maths work - find link above
• Re-read Sidney Spider and complete QUIZ on page 8 of TALK4WRITING document. 
• Watch video on BBC iPlayer (adult supervision required) -  https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m000fccd/andys-aquatic-adventures-series-1-3-andy-and-the-mudskippers - Andy's Aquatic Adventures - Andy and the Mudskippers. Whilst watching this can you compare the Mudskipper to a Chinstrap Penguin? Where do they live? What's the weather like? Is it different? Which one is smaller? Do they live on land or in water? Draw a picture of a Mudskipper in your books.

Day 4:

• Complete day 4 RWI - find link above
• Complete day 4 of maths work - find link above
• Can you retell Sidney Spider to an adult without re-reading the story? Complete page 9 of TALK4WRITING document. Make sure to write your answers down in your books.

Day 5:

• Have a spelling test! Let me know your scores on twitter @MissRustonMPS
• Complete day 5 of maths work - find link above (and do your friends of 10 challenge!)
• Retell Sidney Spider. Complete page 10 of TALK4WRITING document. Once you've made some actions to Incy Wincy Spider, you could send me a video of you practising this on twitter @MissRustonMPS.
• Spend time today learning a new skill. You could do some baking, construction or craft making! Can't wait to see what you do!
