Welcome to Summer term 1
Week1
A very busy first week back starting with our WOW Day! This is to introduce our new topic of Extreme Earth.

Week 2
Another busy week in Morley class. This week started with us working outside with Mrs Latham on the outdoor activities.
We also had fun with Hull FC learning the Haka and performing these to the class.

Week 3
Lots of fun this week in Morley class. We started the week completing newspaper reports and practicing addition and subtraction in our Maths lessons.
We then had our Hull FC dance session where we became robots and made our own robot dances.

Week 4
Lots of fun activities this week with our 'Black and White' day with Hull FC and we also made volcanoes ready for our experiment next week.

Summer Term 2
We have lots of fun activities and events to participate in this half term... lets enjoy the ride
Week 1
Lots of fun activities completed this week. We have started a new D&T topic on nightlights and we looking to design and make our very own.
In maths we have started looking at Geometry and the properties of shapes. In English we have been introduced to newspaper reports. We had an earthquake in class and poor Mrs Harrison had to hide under the table to keep safe.

Week 2
Another busy week in Morley Class. We have begun planning for a innovated write about Pompeii and started a maths topic on geometry. Our new topic in science is Sun Safety and the effects of the sun.
Well done to Freddie, Gracie and Eleanor for participating in the 'Battle of the Bands' Well done for working so hard at home!
Our Star of the week is...
Week 3
Great week everyone, lots of work completed. I know it has been very busy but you have all coped very well. We have learnt how to stay safe in an earthquake, how to write a diary in first person and how to calculate perimeter.
Well done to Freddie, Emily and Mercedes for gaining a certificate for working at home and competing in the Times Tables Rockstars Battle of the Bands against Manor Class.
We also had a fun time outdoor learning with Mrs Latham

Week 4
What an exhausting week it has been with the weather this week. Well done to all of Morley Class for persevering.
We have had lots of fun this week outdoor learning with Mrs Latham and practicing in sports day.
In English we have prepared a diary entry ready for our hot write next week and been learning about horizontal, vertical, parallel and perpendicular lines in Maths.
Well done to Freddie, Maria and Matthew gaining certificates for participating in the 'Times Table Rockstars' Battle of the Bands.

Week 5
Wow! The weeks are passing by very quickly now in Morley Class. We have worked very hard this week on a piece of writing about 'Wildfires' and learning about units of measurement. This ended with a session on capacity using containers and water.
Well done to Evie, Isobel and Freddie for working well at home on their times tables. receiving certificates for participating in the 'Battle of the Bands' against Manor Class.

Week 6
A very warm week in Morley Class and a very busy one too! Well done to all for persevering and staying focused all week. Sports day was a highlight of the week with everyone competing fabulously. Again this week we have focused on measurement in maths and funny story writing in English. The children are also making nightlights as part of a D&T project.
Well done to Evie, Eleanor and Keira for being our rock star heroes in the battle of the bands against Manor class.
