Hi everyone, another week gone and it`s Monday morning again. We hope you are all ok. Our topic this half term is Super hero`s so we hope you are all doing super learning and super fun things at home with your family.
Reading
We hope you have been enjoying Supertato our T4W (talk for writing) book. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rze89HB9u8g
Keep reading the story and each time talk about what is happening on each page. Can you describe some of the other vegetables the carrot, cucumber and the brocolli? Look at the shapes of the vegetables, colour and texture. Discuss with your family.
Continue to read the books you have at home and maybe make up your own super hero story.
Read your tricky words see previous pages.
Writing
Do you know any jokes? Try and write them down and tell them to your brothers and sisters or parents. Can you post any on our Twitter pages.

Remeber number blocks to 10, counting forwards to 20. Play a game with your family or siblings: do you know the number before and after different numbers to 20? So what is the number before 16? and after 16?
If you can do some baking if you have enough ingredients. Talk about weighing ingredients and think about measuring liquids using capacity as a measure.
We look forward to seeing some delicious treats, send your pictures in via twitter. (see our twitter addresses).
Have a go at making a rainbow using water and felt tips - follow the link below. (Please make sure that children are supervised when going on the internet).
