Science: The Sun-Hero or Villain 19.11.2018
Today we were talking about UV light and the Sun. We played a game where we had to decide if the Sun was a hero, or villain in different scenarios.
We set up a whole class investigation; a black piece of card with some 'selfie sticks on'. We want to see if the Sun's rays, the UV light, changes the black card.
We then went on to design our own poster to advertise a pair of glasses, emphasizing the importance of protecting your eyes from the harmful UV rays.
