Up, up and Away! wow day

Our Autumn 1 topic is Up,up and Away! We painted a watercolour sky and added air transport pictures to the background.

Making cloud binoculars

We made cloud binoculars and the went outside to observe the clouds.

Making gliders

We made gliders from straws and 2 strips of card. We flew them to see which went the furthest. Then we made our own adaptations to the design to see if we could make the glider fly faster and further.
